Position Summary:
Zowasel is hiring a Regional Supply Chain Manager to lead commodity procurement, farm input distribution, and supply chain operations across designated regions. This senior role requires a hands-on leader with a strong strategic mindset and at least 10 years of experience in supply chain leadership, ideally in agritech or a related industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Commodity Procurement & Farm Input Distribution

• Lead procurement of agricultural commodities and improved farm inputs.
• Ensure timely acquisition and distribution aligned with operational needs.
• Develop efficient farm input distribution systems for enhanced farmer accessibility.

2. Strategic Supply Chain & Logistics Management

• Design and execute regional supply chain strategies.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and distribution operations.
• Optimize logistics and fleet operations for timely, cost-effective deliveries.

3. Regional Strategy, Planning & Execution

• Develop short- and long-term strategies for regional supply chain performance.
• Align regional plans with company goals and monitor KPIs.

4. Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead and mentor field managers and operations staff.
• Set performance targets, conduct training, and drive continuous improvement.

5. Data Management & Reporting

• Use server-based systems and analytics to track supply chain metrics.
• Generate real-time reports for informed decision-making.

6. Compliance & Vendor Coordination

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to secure high-quality, cost-effective resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fields (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• 10+ years in supply chain management with at least 5 in senior roles.
• Experience in commodity procurement, input distribution, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in data systems and analytics tools.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel extensively across assigned regions.
