The Nigerian Army has commenced its 89 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for Trades and Non-Tradesmen/Women. Online registration began on 31st March 2025 and closes 17th May 2025 via the official recruitment portal: https://recruitment.army.mil.ng

General Requirements:

• Must be Nigerian by birth
• Age:
  • Non-Trades: 18–22 years
  • Trades: 18–26 years
• Education:
  • Non-Trades: Minimum 5 credits (including English & Maths) in WASSCE/NECO/GCE
  • Trades: OND/Trade Test/City & Guilds Certificate in relevant field
• Height: 1.68m (men), 1.62m (women)
• Chest (Men): Minimum 0.86m expanded
• Medical Fitness: No physical, visual, or hearing impairments
• Character: No criminal record
• Graduates: Must present NYSC discharge or exemption certificate

• Fitness Test: 2.4km run, push-ups, sit-ups
• Written Test: General knowledge, math, current affairs
• Medical Check: Conducted in military hospitals
• Final Interview: Assessment of motivation and aptitude
• Training: 6 months of rigorous military training for successful candidates
