About the Role

Our client, a fashion house, is looking for a Senior Sales Representative to join their team. This role is crucial in delivering an exceptional shopping experience by offering personalized styling advice, fostering long-term client relationships, and supporting store operations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fashion, a strong understanding of customer needs, and the ability to lead by example in a sales-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Warmly welcome customers, creating a positive and inviting store atmosphere.
  • Provide personalized styling advice and product recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Respond to client inquiries within 15 minutes, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  • Assist customers with purchases, including processing transactions via POS systems.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge, including fabrics, designs, and brand heritage.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through personalized follow-ups.

Store Operations & Team Support

  • Support merchandising efforts, including stock replenishment and visual displays.
  • Assist junior sales associates in achieving sales targets and individual performance goals.
  • Process transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and refunds as authorized.
  • Open and close the store following standard operating procedures.
  • Recommend refund approvals to the Retail Operations Manager and authorize discounts of up to 10%.
  • Participate in buying meetings, providing insights on product selection.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail sales, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Passion for fashion with a strong understanding of customer preferences and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience with POS systems and handling financial transactions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior sales associates.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to exceptional service.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field is a plus.
