Job Purpose:
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Program Associate to support startup incubation programs at the Ilorin Innovation Hub. This role involves program planning, execution, and ecosystem engagement, working closely with startups, industry experts, and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Manager in executing startup incubation programs, innovation challenges, and ecosystem projects.
- Provide mentorship, training, and business support to participating startups.
- Oversee ecosystem engagement roadshows to identify high-potential innovators.
- Build and manage relationships with industry professionals, academics, and researchers to support startup mentoring.
- Support community events through virtual and in-person engagements.
- Track program progress, measure impact, and contribute to continuous improvements.
- Develop partnerships with universities, entrepreneurs, and local organizations to enhance program reach.
- Organize workshops, bootcamps, and stakeholder meetings, managing logistics and participant coordination.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in program/project management, startup support, or consulting.
- Project Management certification is an advantage.
- Passion for technology, startups, and innovation.
- Experience working in a startup environment with a solid understanding of the tech ecosystem.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build and nurture startup communities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Additional Information:
- Relocation allowance available for candidates outside Ilorin, Nigeria.
