Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Skills Development Executive to lead and drive workforce training initiatives, eliminate skill-related losses, and enhance operational efficiency within the factory. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping training strategies, designing development programs, and ensuring high-quality execution across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the factory training team, including Operations Skill Officers and technical specialists, to implement training programs and eliminate skill gaps.
- Drive the Education & Training pillar, ensuring training work processes align with organizational goals.
- Own and manage the factory-wide training calendar, integrating development outcomes from talent reviews and skills needs assessments (SNAs).
- Design and implement role-specific training curricula to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Establish and monitor trainer qualification systems to ensure high-quality training execution.
- Stay updated with industry trends by networking with external learning institutions and integrating new developments into training programs.
- Collaborate with HR Talent Teams to implement skills development projects and succession planning initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent strategic planning and decision-making skills.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities for assessing training needs and measuring effectiveness.
- Ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across different organizational levels.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
