Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Agricultural Manager to oversee farm operations and optimize productivity. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in agricultural management, farm supervision, or a related field. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on expertise in crop production, livestock management, resource allocation, and agribusiness operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm operations, including crop cultivation, livestock management, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement effective planting, irrigation, and harvesting schedules to maximize yield.
• Manage farm workers, ensuring adherence to best agricultural practices and safety regulations.
• Monitor soil health, pest control, and farm sustainability to enhance productivity and quality.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of farm equipment and machinery.
• Handle budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for farm activities.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
• Research and implement modern farming techniques to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and agricultural stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in agricultural management, farm supervision, or a related field.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Farm Management, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of crop and livestock production, pest management, and farm economics.
• Ability to operate and oversee the maintenance of farm equipment.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience in budgeting and financial planning for farm operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with farm workers and stakeholders.
