About WAVE
WAVE is tackling one of Africa’s most pressing challenges: youth unemployment. In West Africa, 40-85% of youth—over 50 million people—are either unemployed or underemployed. Despite increasing job creation in the region, a gap exists between work-ready youth and employment opportunities. WAVE aims to bridge this disconnect by equipping young people with skills that match market demands.
