A leading FinTech company is seeking a skilled Information Systems (IS) Auditor to join its team in Port Harcourt, Rivers. This is a permanent onsite role in the finance and technology industry.
Summary
The IS Auditor will evaluate the organization’s IT infrastructure, security protocols, and internal controls to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. The role involves risk assessment, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending improvements to safeguard information assets and system integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit Planning & Execution: Develop audit plans, define scope, and conduct IT audits to assess compliance with policies, regulations, and security standards.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate IT risks, vulnerabilities, and control weaknesses in information systems and business processes.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and other industry frameworks.
- Collaboration & Advisory: Work with IT, security, and management teams to implement corrective actions and enhance internal controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications like CISA, CISM, or CISSP are a plus.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of IT frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and tools.
- Experience with auditing software and security assessment tools.
- Understanding of database management and cloud security.
