Broadway Restaurant and Bar Limited, a leading hospitality and food business, is seeking a talented Chef to join our team in Abuja (FCT).

Responsibilities:

  • Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.
  • Study recipes and gather necessary ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook food promptly.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to kitchen staff.
  • Inform wait staff about daily specials.
  • Ensure appealing plate presentation.
  • Assist and oversee cooks as needed.
  • Modify recipes to meet customer preferences (e.g., reduce salt, remove dairy).
  • Monitor food stock and place orders.
  • Check food freshness and discard expired items.
  • Experiment with new recipes and ingredients.
  • Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of work experience as a Chef.
  • Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment (e.g., grills, pasta makers).
  • Strong knowledge of culinary, baking, and pastry techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Up-to-date with modern cooking techniques and sanitation regulations.
  • Culinary school diploma preferred.

Salary:

₦200,000 - ₦250,000 Monthly
